Artist Statement: 
Warsanli Linnet (Linaria johannis) is only found in Somalia and is a species of finch in the Fringillidae family. The species are known in only five locations covering a very small range with the population estimated between 250-999. Its natural habitat ranges from tropical high-altitude shrubland or sub to tropical dry forests. The species is now threatened due to habitat loss and mass tree felling.
