The Artists for Conservation Juried International Exhibit and events will be held at the VanDusen Botanical Garden from Sept 27 - 29, 2019.
Admission to the AFC Festival exhibit and indoor programs is FREE of charge. Admission tickets can be purchased on-site for outdoor activities and access to the Botanical Gardens.
An outdoor installation of AFC's "Silent Skies" mural will be at VanDusen Gardens during the event.

Pacific Coast Portriats Exhibit Festival Preview at Maplewood Conservancy - Corrigan Nature House (Free admission) Art exhibit and sale in partnership with Wild Bird Trust. 25 artworks by local AFC artists will be featured. The exhibit aims to celebrate bird life and biodiversity in the region and to inform viewers about local bird species and their habitats.

William Nahanee of Squamish Nation will perform a welcome/blessing ceremony at 11am on Saturday. Art demos on both days by local AFC artists James Harry, Xwalacktun, Vicky Earle, Denis Mayer Jr., Ken Nash, and Joyce Trygg. Live music on Saturday - Shakuhachi Flute player Alcvin Ryūzen Ramos and violist Thomas RL Beckman. Guitarist John Gilliat on Sunday. Birds of Prey from OWL Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society. |
