In 2020, in response to a need to expand virtual programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a 360 virtual nature art walk was produced, based in North Vancouver's Maplewood Flats Conservancy area. The virtual walk features the art of local chapter members of Artists for Conservation. Most photos on the tour were taken in August, 2020, during the peak of the forest fires across western North America. Smoke originating hundreds of miles to the south of North Vancouver shrouded the area and resulted in ghostly light effects during the day.
The exhibit features the art by members of the local chapter of Artists for Conservation, including: Patricia Banks, Bryan Combes, Rob Butler, Vicky Earle, James Harry, Mark Hobson, Joseph Koensgen, Laura Levitsky, Anita McComas, Ken Nash, Dorset Norwich-Young, Ashley Roll, Ronald Straight and Joyce Trygg.
The tour was produced as part of the 2020 Artists for Conservation Festival in partnership with the Wild Bird Trust of BC, and with the support of the North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission, the City and District of North Vancouver, BC Arts Council and Heritage Canada.
