Vancouver, BC., CANADA - August 13, 2012 - Artists for Conservation Festival returns to Grouse Mountain for the second annual AFC Festival takes place October 13 to 21, 2012 at the Peak of Vancouver.
Starting October 13 2012, Grouse Mountain will once again play host to the Artists for Conservation Festival (AFC) bringing the world's leading conservation- themed exhibit of original nature and wildlife art to the Peak of Vancouver. The second annual AFC festival will this year include renowned artists such as Robert Bateman, Guy Combes, Mark Hobson, and Pollyanna Pickering.
During this unique event, visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to explore the exhibits, participate in registered art workshops, listen to guest speakers, observe live painting demonstrations as well as purchase artwork and festival merchandise in support of Artists for Conservation.
The festival is taking place in the rustic yet elegant Peak Chalet a top Grouse Mountain. To access the festival, take an unforgettable 1 mile journey to the top of the mountain on North America's largest aerial tramway system. AFC Festival is complimentary with a Grouse Mountain admission ticket which can be purchased from guest services or through the Grouse Mountain website.
