Announcing Coleen Christie as Emcee for AFC Festival Gala November 4

Created on Friday, 23 Sep 2011 02:42:49

We're excited to announce that CTV's Coleen Christie will be the emcee for the 2011 Artists for Conservation Festival Gala on November 4.

Coleen Christie is the anchor of CTV News at Five and CTV News: Digital Edition (British Columbia). Since 1997, Coleen has reported on everything from community issues to major entertainment events. She cut her teeth anchoring the station's morning show. Since then, she has hosted three cycles of CTV's former national weekend morning show, Good Morning Canada, and fills in as host on CTV's Canada AM.

Coleen also lends her time and support to many community and charity events including Friends for Life, Dress for Success, BC Cancer Agency and numerous other health, social welfare and the environmental issues. So we're very pleased to have Coleen join Artists For Conservation for this important evening and to partner with CTV, an official media sponsor of the Artists For Conservation Festival!

The Artists for Conservation Festival Gala on November 4 is a by-invitation fundraiser in support of Artists for Conservation's art and environmental education programs including its "Adventures in Art and Environment" youth education series. For more information about the Gala, please go here.
