Vancouver, BC., CANADA - August 13, 2012 - Artists for Conservation Festival returns to Grouse Mountain for the second annual AFC Festival takes place October 13 to 21, 2012 at the Peak of Vancouver.

Vancouver, BC., CANADA - July 16, 2012 - Artists for Conservation (AFC) is proud to announce the list of 2012 exhibiting AFC Signature Member artists accepted into the Artists for Conservation Exhibit - the world's top conservation-themed exhibit and sale.

AFC's Annual Exhibit - The Art of Conservation - has become one of the most highly anticipated events among the nature-inspired art genres.

This afternoon (Nov 11), the Festival will open to the public again at 2:00 pm with live art demos, gallery viewings, film screenings and two lectures presented by AFC artists Kim Middleton and David Kitler at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm resp

Enjoy the world's top conservation-themed exhibit of original paintings and sculptures, five documentary films about art and conservation, special lectures by Guy Combes, Rob Butler, Kelly Dodge, Pat & Rosemarie Keough, live painting demos, adult art workshop by Guy Combes, interactive drumm

All week long we've had students from across the Lower Mainland take part in the colourful art and environmental learning activities at the Artists For Conservation Festival.

Robert Bateman unveiled his new 24" x 48" oil on canvas original today at the AFC Festival - it depicts a Pacific North-western alpine winter scene with snow-laden trees and a pack of wolves in the background.

The original painting is for sale for CA $55,000 Bateman.
